Behind The Scenes STADIEM

STADIEM is a program that attracts the most promising tech startups, scaleups, and SMEs, to participate in the STADIEM program composed of 4 different stages; Match, Develop, Integrate, and Pilot. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 951981.

The Develop phase of STADIEM’s program officially began, after yet an eventful period of the Match phase, that ended in a partnership with Roularta Media Group. We’re developing our product and future additions to provide as much value to Roularta and our partners as possible.

Responsibilities & features:

Let’s take a closer look into the responsibilities shared between Zazu and Roularta.

Both parties are focusing on two core features to achieve maximum effect and de-risk the pilot (making it less intrusive and more feasible):

  • Content Automation (automatic Article-to-Story conversion): for both automation at scale and improved suggestions for content creation.
  • Mobile SDK: to expand Zazu’s offering to native mobile apps and help clients reach their audience across all relevant platforms & channels.

This ultimately aids in the creation of a better user experience for mobile stories.

This way, Zazu will also be expanding its offering to larger publishers and companies outside of the media scope. All to better use Web stories to improve retention and engagement across the customer journey.

Zazu has been acquiring a competitive advantage in the market by gaining such extensive first-hand expertise of business workflows, enterprise-and-startup interactions, and a deep grasp of how and why the relevant parties are involved.

Personnel:

Initiatives are designed to keep a lean mindset and work divided into sprints in order to break down large projects into smaller, more manageable chunks. Subsequently, a handful of individuals are involved such as: product owners, innovation leads, sales experts, etc. Notably, the workshops and brainstorming sessions took place online instead of in-person given the uncertain times the world currently lives in.

Zazu and Roularta devised a detailed action plan, which is implemented during the DEVELOP phase.

Moreover, the aforementioned companies are teaming up for the first time to help publishers improve their product-market fit and make them more attractive to potential buyers. They will also help them sharpen their workflows, improve their sales and marketing efforts, and refine the sales narrative.

The Zazu team is ecstatic to have found such a forward-thinking partner for STADIEM: the Roularta Media Group (RMG). That being said, the planned features will be delivered in the best way possible to ensure a scalable solution is provided. Stay tuned for further details regarding those features (Release date: Mid March 2022)!

Meanwhile, we invite you to get to discover and test out our amazing new features already!
